Topping-out ceremony for the “Gärtnerhof” in Potsdam

The 18th-century “Gärtnerhof”, a listed building, was once home to the gardeners of Sanssouci Palace Park. The complex, consisting of two front buildings and two side wings, is undergoing extensive renovation in line with conservation guidelines and will be supplemented by two new timber-frame buildings. Once completed, the members of a building group will move into a total of 14 flats here. In sunny weather in March, we were able to celebrate the topping-out ceremony together with the future residents and the construction companies!
