PROFILE
The architectural office Scharabi is committed to sustainable construction and aesthetically durable design.
Our maxim is the principle of holism:
Design, economy, ecology and social aspects are in harmony in our planning.
We advise and support our clients individually and in a service-oriented manner. We offer tailor-made advice and a high level of communication skills throughout the entire construction and planning team.
We take on all project planning services in accordance with HOAI for new and existing buildings.
ECOLOGICAL SUSTAINABILITY
We naturally commit to resource-efficient and environmentally friendly construction methods. In new builds, we specialize in using wood, a renewable and climate-friendly material. We are proud to be at the forefront of urban, modern multi-story timber construction. We value wood for both its ecological properties and its aesthetic appeal.
In the context of existing structures, we strive to preserve as much as possible to conserve resources.
Whether it’s new builds or existing structures, we utilize environmentally friendly, deconstructable materials that can be repurposed, embodying the principles of circular construction.
Our commitment to sustainability extends to a significant use of renewable energy sources.
SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY
Social sustainability is important to us in our work approach. We aim to create spaces with our buildings where people feel comfortable, where neighborhoods are fostered, and that radiate positively into the districts. In this way, we have realized many projects for building communities and often developed these together with our clients.
We are successful in concept procedures where properties are awarded based on the quality of usage concepts.
ARCHITECTURAL SUSTAINABILITY
Great architecture is sustainable!
We are convinced that good design has a positive impact on users and the city. Beautiful buildings are better maintained and last longer.
Our projects are regularly awarded architectural prizes and published.
