New project: FÜReinander MITeinander in Freiburg

We are delighted that our expertise in socially and environmentally sustainable projects is also in demand in Freiburg!

On behalf of the Oekogeno e.G. cooperative and Aktion Mensch e.V., we are planning a solidarity-based housing project that combines cooperative construction, inclusion and sustainable urban development. The project aims to create an active community of people from different generations and walks of life, including those who require support.

The project includes two buildings, which are accessed via a covered walkway and connected by a bridge. A total of 13 rental apartments are being built in the “FÜReinanderhaus” (meaning for each other), four of which are shared apartments for people with disabilities, and three of which are commercial units. The “MITeinanderhaus” (meaning together) will offer space for 50 cooperative rental apartments, as well as communal and co-working spaces.

The timber construction and space-efficient floor plans are part of the project’s overall sustainable concept.
