EICHENWALD PRIMARY SCHOOL
The administrative building from the 1930s and the main entrance area of the Eichenwald Primary School were renovated and modernized.
The top floor of the administrative building was completely rebuilt as a wooden structure to provide attractive workspaces for the teachers.
On the ground floor, the rooms for the administration were restructured and the staff room was significantly enlarged.
The main entrance area was enlarged and designed to be representative. A new two-story connecting corridor provides barrier-free access between the administrative building and the school building. The construction consists of steel frames, wooden walls with sustainable wood fiber insulation, and wooden ceilings with visible wooden surfaces. The facade of the connecting corridor and entrance area is clad with pre-grayed larch wood profiles.
The construction measures took place during ongoing school operations.
